Hi all,

Ive recently had a stylus re-tip for my MMC4 so I'm listening to a lot more vinyl at the mo. I've noticed that when I listen to the phono source on my Beomaster 7000 at comfortable volume, then switch to radio the sound is much louder: I'd say the tuner is comfortable at about 5 volume increments less then a the phono channel.

im using a Beograd 6500 with the built in RIAA preamp, so it's not a comparability issue. Is there some adjustment that can be made to the gain of the RIAA or the preamp stage of the Beomaster to help even things out? Or is this a known (ahem) feature of the Beomaster 7000?

It's a minor issue, but I have blasted the radio pretty loud when I've forgotten about the volume difference!

Thanks for your advice

Luke
