Hi all,

Since my initial purchase of the Beogram 4002 in 2016, I've added a Beogram 4004 and recently the Beolab 8000 to my collection Big Smile

Now I need your expert opinion on the speakers.  I am looking to replace the grill for one of the 8000 because the latch for the top part of the speaker has broken off (i.e., it doesn't lock down). Not a big deal, but I am neurotic and like it to be perfect.  As I am researching for a replacement grill, I notice that the grill on my 8000 looks like it belong to the 8002 with a semi-circular notch (see photo  of my speaker).  I've read that the grill for 8002 won't fit the 8000 (according to a B&O parts vendor).  I am certain I have the 8000 (type 6803) from the back of the speaker tab. I am afraid if I brought the 8002 grill, it would not fit my 8000. Which brings me to the questions: Did B&O ever make a 8000 with the notched grill? More importantly (for my purpose), will the 8002 grill fit my speakers?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Ken
