Hi, I'm trying to watch 3D on the projector. The source is PS3. I know I'm not able to get 3D out, so I need to change HDMI, and let it go directly from PS3 to the projector. The problem is how to get the sound to the TV. Are there any splitters able to output both 1.3 sound and 1.4 picture? Is it possible to use optical out on PS3, and convert the signal to S/P-DIF? Will there still be 5.1 surround? Is it possible to remove the HDMI from the PS3 and still have sound through S/P-DIF? Any other Ideas? Can I use a Panasonic BD-player with 2 outputs, fx the 320, use the HDMI 1.4 to connect to the projector, and the HDMI 1.3 to connect to BV7-40? Will there only be to the TV?

I`d try a HDMI splitter that supports 3D. First HDMI out to BV7 for the sound. You should even be able to get HD surround sound via HDMI in cinema mode. Now second HDMI to the projector via a second HDMI in, if there is any...(?)

Do you let a Lintronic box control your cinema setup?

Then you could assign the PS3 to DVD2 and let the projector switch to HDMI 2 input, when you press CINEMA (FORMAT 0) in DVD2 mode.

I didn`t try that solution, it`s just a guess, and can be an interesting solution..
