Beogram 4004 lifting tonearm late?

I have a 4004 and it seems the tonearm assembly starts traveling back before the stylus is lifted. Please check my video of the behavior here:

Is this normal or do I need to adjust something here?

its hard to tell from your video.....im assuming you are requesting the arm to lift and its not just lifting spontaneously? my guess would be that the solenoid is operating and the return command is also working....I would look to the lifting mechanism to ensure it is all free from hardened oil and debris that can build up in the bearings and slow down the lifting operation which is causing the drag....
