I just finished reforming the midranges on my Pentas. I compared them half way, refoamed vs broken, and the difference in sound is as excpected massive.
Upon inspecting the rubber surrounds on the bass elements, I think they seem very soft and give quite easily.
Does anyone know how they felt when new?
Has anyone ever changed them, and did it have much impact on the sound?
