Hello!
I'm a new member here and have a technical question (that I haven't been able to find an answer to on the net):
I was gifted (!) a 1991 Beocenter 2300 / 2616 complete with speakers in very good condition, as it was hardly ever used. It works and plays very nicely - when it works... It sometimes "dies" - the red light flashes and doors don't open. The backlight does come on, but that's it! I've managed to "reset" it by unplugging it from the mains for >30 minutes. Just unplugging it for 5 or 10 minutes doesn't help!
Any ideas? It was "serviced" about 10 years ago, and has basically not been used since!
Cheers
Esben
I was just testing it at low volume, and there was a fairly loud pop and the right 2061 speaker practically died... A bit of sound does come out, but it's fairly distorted
Then the 2300 went into "no reaction mode"...
I'm fairly handy with a soldering iron, but I think this might be too much - I can't even get the speaker grilles off!
Anyone know of a competent technician in the Stuttgart / Heilbronn area of Germany?
