Had speed issues with my 4004, now apparently resolved, however I failed to notice that there are two sockets on the motherboard connecting to the motor, which one do I use for a North American spec Beogram 4004, P1 or P2?
Thanks,
Jeff.

Unfortunately, the two sockets are identical and the motor cable plug will fit both sockets - but one will work and the other will insome cases cause smoke. That's because only one of the sockets is for the motor (that's the front-most socket = red/blue/white wires). If you look at the silkscreen printing, you can see, that the color of the nearest wire in the cable is printed on the board. The other socket is for a front panel LED.
