Just tried to revive a Playmaker MK2 to use 2 old BL8000s...
As most people experienced Wi-Fi connection is extremely unstable and barely usable, so I connected the PM via Ethernet, it gets its address and is on the LAN (web interface always reachable), however, just as with the Wi-Fi, iOS clients do not see it as an AirPlay target... I suspect the 'advertisement' is not done, or not correctly... my 2 Apple TVs are always present in the list, but the PM only intermittently... so the problem is I guess not the LAN or Wi-Fi connection, but more the way the PM does its advertisement as an AirPlay target on the network (I presume some sort of broadcasting ??), which is definitely NOT done the way clients expect it...
Any hints welcome...
