Blown Beolab 6002 bass??

Hi,
I am a new member and have a technical question please;

We have B&O Beolab 6002 TV speakers through a Sony TV. I unplugged them to plug into a Microsoft Surface and forgot to turn them off at the wall so they popped as I touched the jack plug.

Since then, both through the TV and Surface there doesn't seem to any bass coming through any more.
My fear is that the jack plug popping with the power on has done something nasty to them.

Is that possible? I hope there is some sort of cut-out that protects them.

Any help gratefully received.
