Hello my handsome Devils....

I have a BV9 that has not been used for awhile.  Built in HD tuner through BS3.

TV is lovely, but unit keeps putting subtitles on, even if in the menu, you have asked to turn them off.

They turn off, but when you put a previous channel on, the subtitles come up again (when returning.)

Any ideas?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Danke. XO

Good evening,

If you have a Beo4 remote, try pressing the TEXT button to see if the subtitles will disappear.

Regards,

Jean

My 7 did that, subtitles are located in two menus and both have to be switched off

Let me know if you have resolved if not I'll look into my settings

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

Did anyone work this out? I’m having the same issue with my 7 mk3, did a factory reset and now can’t for the life of me work out how to stop the subtitles. Can do it in the normal dtv menu but soon as you change channels or turn it off/on they’re back.

Is this what you are asking about?
