Hi guys
I have been given BeoSystem 3 for free as the previous owner said it would not power on. As far as I can see it power on just fine. The green LED lights up and the goes off (as far as I know this is fine). But how do I opererate this thing? I have looked in the guides but this does not help me as I do not have a BeoVision 4/9 or the like. Is an IR eye needed or can you control it with a Beo4 if it is not hid away? I have not had any luck getting an image when connected to either my Pioneer plasma or an older PC monitor. I have tried to plug in a games console to one of the HDMI's and plugged in the DVI-out from the BeoSystem 3 to the two displays. No luck.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Best regards,
Frederik

You need the external IR eye if not connected to the B&O screen with IR receiver build in.
