Hi guys,

When watching a bluray via my OPPO player, I have a flickering screen on my brand new BV7-40.

It happens sometimes also when watching cable TV.

Cables are new and of good quality (QED). Do you have any ideas or experience on this problem ?

Thanks

Eric

Hello you have probably tried this but all I could recommend is to check all your hdmi connections. It sounds like the same problem you would get if your scart lead wasnt in correct.

Hello,

The flickering occurs during the first 20 minutes, just like if the system needed to warm up.

After this "warm-up" period, everything is fine.

Really dissapointing, since I didn't had the problem with my previous sony LCD.

How frequent is the flickering?

I would say 2-3 times per minutes, decreasing during 15 minutes, juste like a lightning or white flashes on the screen.

Hi Eric,

I also have a sort of flickering during warm up period with my BV 7-40 3D, you can see vertical stripes on the screen. But I can't say yet whether the BV 7 is the reason or the connected Technisat receiver, because I didn't notice it during watching bluray or Apple TV.

I come back on my issue of white/green flashes on my screen when paying bluray, still not

I send the question to OPPO service desk and they told me this :

"This probably a HDMI handshake issue, please lock output resolution and color space in the player and make sure all HDMI control is set to off in all connected devices."

I fixed the color space on the OPPO to YCbCR 4:4:4 as he told me (is it supported by the BV7 ?)' but I cannot find any HDMI control on the beovision. Does one of know about such controls ?

Do you already experiment such probs on new equipment ?

Thanks

Hi guys,

I think my issue is solved.

The OPPO is very, very, very, sensible to hot environnement ( confirmed by OPOPO service desk).

I was in a closed cabinet, and after 15 minutes playing, the image was unstable.

I left the cabinet open since more than a week now, and no more probs occurs.

Hope it helps future OPPO owners

Eric
