B&O just unveiled its most discrete system : Beolab 15+Beolab 16, wall-embedded, associated with the rack-mountable Amplifier 1

to be honest, I would! I seem to remember David Lewis being quoted as saying that his ideal speaker would be invisible - and wall mounting discretely would seem one method. My problem, harking back to another thread, is that fitting them in my walls would need a pneumatic drill! I would also want them to sound pretty fantastic. Of course experimenting with placement could be tricky!! Big Smile

Hi Peter,

I absolutely agree. But still I would paint a BeoLab 5 around it ;-)

I could see these being popular used for surrounds in a dedicated home theater, using multiple pairs, providing a similar look to what we find in cinemas.

I also rather like the idea of them looking similar to the Beovox 1 and Beovox 2, providing a consistent look throughout a home. I can see these being very popular in new home constructions.

A Beolab 5 behind a curtain would then be ideal, sound and visually.

Too long to list....

Quite like these. I have no use for them though...

Gatex it is more sad that laughable ! If B&O continue to launch products for a " niche ", the brand will die.

Exiting speakers!

I just thought about "redesigning" my surround setup using BV2 speakers - BL15/16 might be a solution.....(?)

Then I would certainly commend you on your having the financial means and space to use 6 BeoLab 5 speakers in a dedicated theater! Unfortunately, most people live in a more modest and realistic world.

What about putting that in english? As that made no sense to me... Hmm
