I'm looking at picking up a used BV11-40 and the seller isn't sure if it has the Wisa module installed.

How can he find this out for sure? (Which menu option etc.) Just so I know before I make the journey to collect.

Thanks

Jon

Hi Jon

The easiest way to check is to obtain the type number which is on the serial number sticker behind the speaker cover. If it’s a type 9557-9598 then it’s a MKI without WiSA, any other type number thereafter has WiSA as standard.

Also from the menu go to Setup, then Sound, Speaker Connections. It will give you the option at the bottom of the screen to press Red button to rescan. Along with it saying PL sockets 1-5 it will also display WPL sockets.

Regards

Stuart
