I've been having this problem with my Beosound 3000 type 2671
No sound from the CD player, even if the cd turns ok until the last song without problem with laser unit, so everything works perfectly. exept just the sound from the CD that does not come out.
The sound from AUX & Radio works perfect.
Are you able to select tracks and move forward within tracks (fast forward)as normal?If so ,it suggests that the disc is tracking normally.
However,the system design is such that if the data from the disc is corrupted,the output will be muted,so you could have a laser problem.Have you tried cleaning the laser lens (with a cotton bud dipped in alcohol)which is accessable when the cd clamper is raised?
There may otherwise be a problem in the decoder,but they are not really repairable being all tiny surface mounted devices.Signal tracing will reveal where the sound is getting lost,but will need equipment and expertise of course.
