Moment and new B&O App

Evening Colleagues

Some months ago I reported on several issues with my Moment and in particular issues I was experiencing with DLNA via QNAP.

Months on after chatting with XXX and XXXXX from B&O in Denmark we thought we may have been onto something and it was suggested I move to TWONKY instead of QNAP and that 'Expert Mode' would work properly, ie I would be able to add missing Artist tiles and add correct album artwork.  They were very helpful. Twonky didn't solve the problem at all and they acknowledged new problems with TWONKY.  Some months on, all has gone quiet and no further responses to any emails. I send a follow up email weekly and not a single reply. (I've left out their names as I believe its unprofessional for me to name them here). 

A brand new issues has also now emerged with the appearance of the new App. I can no longer change stations, change source (eg Deezer and all its recommended playlists). This is becoming exceptionally frustrating now.

I really thought making contact with Denmark would be helpful but now silence. Im fine with 'we're working on it and have nothing to tell you' but the silence I'm finding impolite. Now the new app has rendered the Moment even more frustrating.

I've deleted the Moment from the App and re added hoping that might assist.

After a year of having the Moment it still doesn't work properly. Ive hung onto it as I keep hoping it will be fixed. When it works properly it is really a lovely product.

Is it time to give up on Bang and Olufsen and go with a Sonos?

B&O have found the issue causing problems with the Moment,and have released a new build that awaits Apple approval.

Not really the same as Moment is it?  And does not integrate well with B&O, or?   Smile

The app works very well

Good soundquality.
