Hi,

Tearing my hair out on this one, but does anyone know how to connect these in a mainroom (there is a beosystem 3 which connects to the speakers). I can't find any combo which would allow RADIO from the BS2, and N.MUSIC/N.RADIO from the beosound 5/Beomaster 5.

Hi,

this should work if the BeoMaster 5 is set to 'No Audio Master'. The Audio Master will then be the BeoCenter, the BeoMaster 5 / Beosound 5 combo will be then be only an additional Audio sorce which needs only be connected via Masterlink to deliver the selected audio.

You know, I’ve tried that. Still no joy with the functions working correctly. It’s a real puzzle!

I've had this combination before and I know it works. Perhaps you need to do a power cycle of all of your ML products.

I wish it were. What are the options settings on your BS3, BC2?

To clarify the effect, I can choose N.RADIO from the remote, the Beocentre 2 will display N.Radio on its display, the beosystem 3 will power up - but nothing comes out....

i don't know for sure but setting the BeoMaster5 / BeoSystem 5 to  'A.OPT 0' should give the correct function

Right now the BC2 gets the IR command from the TV and the BM5 direct via its own IR receiver as it seems.

That helped! Thanks. Now N.Radio works fine, but strangely, N.Music can’t be selected after N.Radio!
