uk tv in france

Hi all,

  can i use a bv7 in france it has freeview built in. do in need a STB instead of using the tuner?

Hi Nick, I have a BV7mk 6 (?) the last model in France and I have  UK tv. Its works fine until theres thunder and lightening any where between me and UK.

If you mean Freeview and not Freesat, then remember that France now only use HD on all their systems so unless your BV7 has an High Definition Freeview decoder then you will not be able to watch French TV via Freeview. Satellite TV is also only in available in High Definition and all the major channels are also Encripted.
