Dear membrs,
my beosound 9000 denies it’s fixing.
I had the usual problem of cd pause.
ordered a new laser unit from ebay germany, beopotsdam. Changed the laser. Still cd pause. Returned the laser back
Then I sent the whole laser vam unit to uk for fixing, ebay user sellshort. The very helpful tecnician sent mine unit back unfixed , cause I had broken it and was not restorable,as well as a whole new unit which he had tested and reported ok. Still cd pause.
Kind of dead end here.
any suggestions?

I had the same problem last year. I have changed a laser without success but I had another player ( Marantz DR4050, CD part) to test the new laser.
Being sure that new laser is OK i changed it very thoroughly and cleaned with alcohol all ribbon wires: laser pickup, laser mechanism, 2 coming to PCB41 and 2 coming to clamping mechanism. Then I carefully assembled everything back and checked again - started to work.
What is pcb41?
also i just noticed that while in test menu the laser when giving command for innermost or outermost position, does not move at all
Which type of laser is mounted in the BS9000?
I think i fixed it!!
removed everything, located the wire that gives power to the motor which moves the laser.
when touched it, it broke apart, maybe cold welding. So i weld it back on.
now laser moves innermost and outermost.
cd most propably plays because i can change tracks, eg cd3 track 1, track 2 etc...
should it count seconds? I dont have the cable to connect it to my moment.
the only problem is that when it changes cds it makes a noise like scratching them. Some kind of calibration problem?

The "scratches" can be caused by a clamper arm assembly as the external part goes through the internal one. It's very easy to make a mstake on that stage as this coupling is rather tricky.
Can you guide me how to fix it?
I ruined everything..
saw some posts about the rocker arm problem
i opened the rear, bended a little the rocker arm
now the bs9000 does not respond
the sledge stopped moving. It is in a random position and no matter what cd i choose it stays still
trying the testmode. When i press cd it does not respond. Sometime it executes sledge release but stucks there and does not move
is it ruined?
Sorry for my message bombing. Fixed everything at last
enjoying my old cds to the beolabs 18 through moment..
ps: i experimented on bending the rocker arm with a plier until it worked smoothly
