Hi all, Beoremote One question for you. Is there any additional functionality or internal upgrade with the latest Beoremote One with the unfortunate Netflix and Amazon buttons in comparison to the previous remote that has the additional My Buttons. Am I missing something from sticking with the older version?

I swapped out my BR1 with Netflix/Amazon for the new 4 button unit.

Simple to program with the BV Eclipse and simple to allocate the 4 buttons to Netflix/Amazon/iPlayer/BR

Was also impressed how the BR1 pulls all the BV Eclipse's settings to the BR1 interface.

Ok thanks.

The four button unit was actually out before the Netflix/Amazon version as I have it on my Avant NG. I'm now replacing it with an Eclipse and don't like the look of the Netflix/Amazon remote. So I just wanted to be sure that if I keep my 'four my button' version it will work correctly.

It's a Netflix/Amazon marketing lockin... In order to have Netflix on your TV set you have to provide your customer with a remote which has a dedicated Netflix button. That was the problem with the BV14. Netflix app installed on the TV but not Netflix button so Netflix ripped the BV14 authentication from their service. B&O probably thought that a Netflix buttoned remote in the manual was sufficient .
