I stumbled upon a Beomaster 6000 Commander.

The condition is.. well.. not that good but the electronics seems to be OK they just need a good cleaning.

The aluminum parts however seems to be corroded. Have anyone experienced the same and had any luck cleaning and removing the corrosion?

Kind Regards,

Leave it in ketchup overnight.

"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"

It will never go away.
You can use acid to remove the oxidation but the material that has gone, will not come back.
Restoring would mean grinding down the surface to bare aluminium and making new eloxation with lettering.

Find another.

I'll save it for spare parts.

I left it in ketchup for two days. It removed a lot of the dirt but the oxidation is still present.
