Hello,

One more problem to solve and it will work just like before I move: I have a little USB disk of 500 Go connected to the front of my BeoSound 5 Encore.

I had some issues to make it running, but everything was fine ... before to disconnect and move all.

Now, when I want to add a ripped CD (MP3 320 kbp/s or FLAC) I can see as usual "Loading USB" but the result is nothing to ear.

I rip the CD with WMP, tag with MP3Tag, transfer on this disk with my PC, check, the files are there, I can play it, reconnect it to the BeoSound 5 and that's all. Nothing new in all the lists.

This disk is full of aroud 275 Mo. I've erased some files that I don't listen very often (maybe never) to make some place in case of a limitation: no result.

The retailer had connected this disk there, it's easy for adding music time to time but I don't know if the other USB connector at the rear is not preferable. I don't know if there is any difference between the two.

And I've never seen it. Maybe, I've to disconnect the BeoSound from its base to see it.

Some people tell me to buy a NAS. It's not the moment, the furniture are not in their definitive place, including the HiFi and we have to repaint the walls of the living room.

For the moment, I have to continue with this, we'll see later for the NAS.

The only thing I know is this was working very well and stopped suddenly.

Is there an option to rebuild the indexes?

Thanks for your help.

François
