Sorry for appearing a bit thick on this subject but I'm trying to reprogram existing light pictures for my lounge LC2s. Each time I follow the instructions though and try a new setting, for example light picture "2" the lights default to their previous settings. I know i must have set them up previously but it has been a few years since then.
One main thing that is confusing me is that in the instruction booklet it says "Important! These programmings are all carried out by holding the dark front half dome...." . However if I touch the dome the lights dim or brighten whilst i am trying to program a light picture and therefore this changes the intensity of the lights which are controlled by that particular LC2 so the light is not at the level i want for that particular light picture. Do i really have to touch the dome when programming the lights?
Hope this makes sense. Any help please would be appreciated.
Thanks.

The only setting that requires to touch the light is when setting the light number for each light.
So, to store a local light picture(consisting of 1 or more LC2's in same room), adjust each light to the specific setting, and on the remote(Beolink 1000 in this example) press
Light -> Store -> 1 ->Store
Where 1 is the local light picture you would like the current setting under.

Thanks very much. Appreciated.
Yes, realised this now! Had been reading the wrong part of the booklet, not the part that explains light pictures rather than setting a lamp number. Duh!
