I was hoping to use a Beolink 1612 converter to add an audio signal from my Mac Mini to my Master link system. Which consists of a Beosound 4000, Beolab 2000, Beolab 3500 as well as two passive 1658 amplifiers controlled by independent IR eyes. My only question will this idea really work and will all I need to do is press the AUX control on the Beo4 remote to hear the sound from my computer??? As you can tell I can use some direction on the matter.
Thanks
Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there
Will I some how need to identify the 1612 as a TV? Or use the option settings? Would the 1612 also work as a stand alone MASTER, if I was to not use my Beosound 4000?

mjmedlo:I think the 1612 is self recognizing. You simply press the button. Unplug everything after you put it on the network.
