Hi,

Does any MCP 6500 work with any Beomaster 6500 without any changes?

Thanks

Sure.  As would the hand-held remotes 1000/5000/Beo4.

Hi

The short answer is yes, but your Beomaster has to be in option “1” or “2” if it is in option “0” the IR receiver is disabled.

Thank you both for the quick responses - I should have also asked if there is any special 'pairing' procedure to link the MCP with the Beomaster 6500, and so what are the steps? The reason I ask is that I am trying to get my existing MCP to work with another Beomaster.

Nothing but the Beomaster option setting as mentioned above.

With the system at standby, press SOUND, 1, STORE, or SOUND, 2, STORE.
