Hello everybody,
I've just bought a beosound 9000, when i bought it operation panel was working. I had some word on it (glass lid and clamper parallelism - was touching the cd when spinning) nowit's fixed. It's linked with my classical amplifier with a din cable and a "fake" din plug. That's working great but....
.... now the operation panel is inactive. Do you have an idea about fixing that ?

Thanks a lot.

Dominique

I would suggest taking the keyboard out and putting it back in. It is important to slide it in so that the Keyboard sits under the clips properly.

I've done that a lot of time but no effect.

Place the keyboard the opposite way. Then the display should change. At least you know then that it sits properly.

I've also tried that.

My feeling is that iit's disabled by a code or something, is it possible ?

I would clean keyboard contacts with alkohol. There can be some grease.

this happened to me once.  The connector plug had come loose inside the unit. I'm sorry to say that I've forgotten how I accessed it, from the top or bottom, but it was very simple to plug back in.
