Hi there,

I just installed my new decoder and I am using Beo4 remote.

Just about everything works, exept the arrows around the Go button

How can I pair my remote ?

please advise

STB PUC = Set Top Box Peripheral Unit Controller

It's the system that transfers the IR signal from your B&O remote to output an IR signal that should control your Humax set top box, via a little IR transmitter at the end of a thin cable.

Have you simply changed from another Humax box?  If so, you may find that some of the 5300c's IR control codes are different.  The connections menu of your TV should list other boxes (STBs) that your TV is able to control, and you may find that the 5300c is listed there and that you are able to select it.

Hi again

I checked that and it isn,t amoung those listed. The weird thing is that the remote performs several commands, but not the arrows around the GO button

Hi Tsjechov,

One one of my TVs with Humax HDR FOX T2 I can just press the arrow key and it works.

On another of my TVs with the same box I have to press GO first.

Up = GO then UP ARROW

Left = GO then LEFT ARROW

etc.

Give that a try.

My HD FOX T2 with my BV6 is the same - I have to press GO first (I must be doing it automatically because I had forgotten!)

But my HDR FOXSAT used to work without GO.
