I have a Beovision 8-40 to which I would like to connect my Beomedia 1 which I have lying around. However I can't seem to get it to work properly. I have it connected via masterlink and VGA to AV3 as PC with the option for VGA as on and Beomedia as PUC setting. When I try to turn on the Beomedia with PC the screen usually stays black until I go into the connections settings and select all the same option again, then it will switch on. Even then it will only react to the Beo4 some of the time. And even when it is working like excepted I have never been able to get any sound.
Does anybody know if there are some special settings? Or if I'm just doing something wrong.

ML has to be connected between BV8-40 and BeoMedia 1. Vga Cable to be connected between BV8-40 and BeoMedia. In Connection menu i BV 8-40 choose AV 3, PC and the option BeoMedia 1. If you don't get the option of Beomaster5 or BeoMedia your BV8-40 need a software update to lastet BV8-40 software. Do NOT use any PUC option. BeoMedia 1 is controlled only by MasterLink
