greetings again from tulsa!
i've been gifted a beogram 2000 that is missing the needle on the mmc5 cartridge that was on it. my questions are: i see a couple of places that offer rebuilding services for these cartridges - is that the way to go? one of them is in denmark and the turn time is two weeks or so. OR just buy a new one from soundsmith? OR would anyone here have something for sale that would work for me?? the owners manual states that it came with an mmc4 but i'm clueless to the intricacies of the cartridges on b & o turntables.
any help is always appreciated!

Hi Will,
I'd definitely go for an SMMC4 from the Soundsmith.
