I have a pair of Beovox 1500 speakers I inherited from my father. They were in storage for a couple of years. I needed to replace the speaker wires as they had perished but when removing the speaker cover I noticed that the woofer and mid range cones had been treated by someone applying what looks/feels like silicon along the edges - otherwise the cones look OK. If I need to replace the cones, where can I get parts? Very difficult in South Africa.
