I have just acquired a late model beogram 6000 with the cd4 /riaa board fitted. unfortunately some time in the past someone has cut off the lead out wire. The board has a straight plug in connector and the remaining piece of wire has a straight 6 pin plug. This plug has 6 wires leading from it in the following order from furthest left as you look from the front.top

1 yellow

2 blue

3 brown

4 red

5 screen

6 black - to earth

i presume the yellow/blue/brown and red are front L/R and rear L/R +ve and the screen being a common ---ve, but which one is which ?

The cable also has a second insulated screen which solders to the tuntable earth strap.

Does anyone know which wire is which ?

thanks in advance for any help
