I have just helped someone move some older equipment into their new home (Beosound 9000 and AV7000) and I know that there is a way to link these 2 units together but I am not sure how to wire it properly. I have a converter box that includes master link and power link connections and would like to have all of the speakers connected to the AV7000 for full surround sound. I know the system is old but I would really like to help them have this set up. Any advice is appreciated.

I have an A/V 7000 connected to a BM 7000 so I don’t know if this will work with the BS 9000 or not. I connected a powerlink cable to the A/V 7000 PL input and the audio aux link cable to the audio aux input. Set the A/V 7000 to option 2 and the BM 7000 to option 1. Then go through the configuration options for the devices you have connected to the A/V 7000. Gold or Silver members can download the product manuals.
