Hallo zusammen,
Francis
Hallo Francis,
schau mal hier: https://soundsheavenly.com/bang-olufsen/11-312-7-pin-aux-splitter-dual-aux-tape-input-sockets.html#/20-length-02m
bzw. hier: https://soundsheavenly.com/music-input/18-419-aux-input-switch-box-for-multiple-input-devices-to-one-aux-socket-4-way.html#/36-output-5_pin_din_aux
Vorher per EMail bei Sounsheavenly anfragen, um sicherzugehen. Steve antwortet i.d.R. prompt und kompetent.
Grüße
Ralf
Der Splitter im ersten Link ist ja 7-polig. Aber wie du schon sagst - Steve fragen :-)
Hi Francis and Ralf,
Sorry for replying in English. Yes, the Aux Splitter is the best option, as it is a 7 pin version to allow remote control of the Beogram:-
https://soundsheavenly.com/bang-olufsen/11-312-7-pin-aux-splitter-dual-aux-tape-input-sockets.html#/20-length-02m
You can then connect a DAB radio or other music source to the other side of the splitter with this cable to share the Aux socket:-

Kind regards, Steve.

Hi both,
thanks a lot for your help and advice. Much appreciated.
I'm sure the splitter will solve my problem. I did not notice before it has indeed 7 pins. Have just ordered one from Soundsheavenly.
Best regards
Thanks Francis,
I will get this posted on Monday morning.
I know that some people have had success using converters between a new Apple TV and an earlier Beovision 7 TV, but the results can be variable so I don't usually recommend these. Instead, you can use a 1st generation Apple TV with Component video outputs to the TV (these are available on eBay as pre-owned items).
Another option (which I use at home on my Beovision 8-32) is to connect an old computer to the DVI input of the TV for all your streaming video and online movies, this has the advantage of also letting you use the TV for web browsing.
Beoworld is the friendliest forum I have found online, it is a real pleasure to be able to help support it.
Hi Steve,
I just received the splitter, thanks for the quick delivery.
Unfortunately, it does not work as expected. This is what I experienced:
Do you have any Idea on how to solve the issue? Here some details of the setup for your information:
Beogram 4500 with original 7 pin connection. Technisat Digitradio 110 IR, connected via audio out (3.5 mm jack plug and cable into a 3.5 mm jack to 5 pole DIN plug adapter; the Technisat has no line out, the only other option is an optical out). The adapter does not cause the problem. If only the adapter with the 3.5 mm plug and cable attached is connected to the splitter while the Beogram is playing, everything is fine. Only when the second 3.5 mm plug is then connected to the Technisat, the problem starts.
Hi Francis,
I am sorry to hear that you are having problems. It is most likely that the mains power supply for the Technisat radio is the cause of the issue. If you unplug the 3.5mm cable from the back of the Technisat radio and instead plug it into a portable music player (eg. iPod or phone), do you get normal sound and control of the Beogram please?
Please note that you will need to turn up the iPod/phone volume to get a normal sound level. Please let me know how you get on and I will be pleased to assist further.
Thanks for your reply. Could this be an issue with the 3.5mm to 5 pin DIN cables and adapters that you are using please?
This sounds like an impedance mis-match between the Beogram output and the headphone output of the other device. Usually, when using a device with line level RCA outputs alongside a Beogram with a pre-amp, there should be no issues.
In this case, the best option is to change the Aux Splitter to a switch box to isolate the different sources so that you can manually switch between them as required:-
https://soundsheavenly.com/music-input/18-419-aux-input-switch-box-for-multiple-input-devices-to-one-aux-socket-4-way.html#/36-output-5_pin_din_aux
Yes, unfortunately you would lose remote control of the Beogram if you use the switch box..... unless you keep the Beogram connected via the splitter and connect the switch box to the other socket of the splitter (instead of directly to the Ouverture.
This way, the Beogram has a direct connect with remote control and you can also add more devices to the Aux socket via the switch box as required.
PS. Thanks Ralf!
