Beosound Core - stutter/jitter

Greetings,

I have two similar setups - Beosound Core + Beolab 18. Often when I stream music via wi-fi, the sound will stutter/jitter for a few seconds regardless of source (Apple Music/DLNA Server/Spotify) and device (MacBook Pro/iPhone/iPod).

We have a fast internet connection, but as this happens with the DLNA server as well, I don't think it's related to the download.

The Wi-Fi is delivered on Google Wi-Fi, and there are only 3 meters between the hotspot and the Core - all open air.

Last I checked Google will not let you specify 2.4 or 5 GHz on a specific network. I can see why that would make a difference, but there's fast internet regardless.

I can't find any kind of setting that would improve this. Maybe the buffer in the Core is very small?

Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Starting to drive me nuts.

Thank you,
John

Data traffic management on your router. Is it enabled?

Look for WMM...
