Hi, I recently bought a minijack trigger kit for my newly bought beolab2 (used) hoping to connect it to my phone or use the airport express as an airplay device. After connecting it to the kit, it was able to product bass, but only the deep bass part, and nothing else. I cannot hear the melody or tbh anything else besides the low end part. Is that normal or the speaker is defective? Thanks!

Is this the product you bought?

If so, you bought a (great) subwoofer, which, like like all such, is designed to reproduce very low frequency sound only.
