Hi all,

I now have my beoport reliably providing N.Radio over Masterlink for internet radio using BM-Link and iTunes on the Mac and would like to know if it's possible to have N.Radio run as the Radio source instead of my beosound 9000's built in FM tuner? It's a real pain having to access the function through the remote's LIST function and would be much better if it could activate from the Radio button press. The 9000 (which is a Mk2 with the update to support N.Radio) is running as the ML audio master with no speakers directly attached. I am hoping there is a way to disable the built in FM tuner to make the beoport the default Radio tuner?

Many thanks.

Rob.

I can't answer your specific question, but if you want N.RADIO from a single button press you could always purchase a BL1000 (or BL5000) which has a PHONO button - this emits the same IR code as N.RADIO.

Just move N.Radio (or Phono) to the first place in the List of the Beo4.

Then ‘your new radio’ is easy available.

There is no way to disable the FM tuner and use the Radio command for another source (on a BS9000).

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Great tip thanks MM, I didn't realise that could be done! I've also removed a lot of unused functions.
