I acquired these speakers and unfortunately they have some damage to their corners. Has anyone attempted such a repair and how badly does it diminish the value of the speakers. (all other things in good shape aside from a couple of corners that is).

Hello

honestly I'd be more worried about crumbled foams of woofers and midrange drivers, wooden defects are last issues to solve

Refoam the woofers and midranges and correct the fading finish. That will have the greatest impact in value. The corner is a minor cosmetic issue.

It’s been awhile, but I fixed the corner of a P45 or P30 cabinet. You have to pull the Aluminum out, straighten it, then reinsert. Of course you also have to repair the corner with some glue.

As already stated, though, that’s the least of your concerns.

Hi All,

Of course the woofer and mid range are going to be restored. :) That's why I bought them, I have started adding teak oil to one speaker here with some light sanding with foam pads.
It is reassuring that you think there might be some value left in these speakers. I was very saddened to see the damaged corners :(
I also have the stands (black height adjustable) which need a light sand and coat in smooth hammerite paint.
The covers  I am also going to recover with fresh cloth as they are tatty and mouldy. Half tempted to go for dark grey instead of black, in the hope that the colour takes away from the damaged corners.
