Hi all,

My repair guy is having trouble figuring out what is wrong/missing with my Beocenter 3500 turntable.  He said if I could get hold of a photo of the turntable mechanism in a functioning unit, it would really help him figure out what is wrong.

So, does anyone out there have one handy, or can someone kindly take one and send it to me?

Cheers,

Chris.

What is the problem exactly?
Or symptoms?

Thanks Martin.

I'm not actually sure.  The unit hasn't been used in nearly 30 years.  We have the electronics up and running, and we've replaced the motor with a reconditioned one.

I think my repair guy can't figure out how to repair the automatic arm mechanism?  He has a copy of the schematics, but says it doesn't help because the unit changed over the years.  A look inside a functioning one would point him in the right direction?

Sorry I'm so vague, I don't know a lot about the inner workings of turntables, and I'm trying to act as a conduit for an 80+ year old!

Cheers,

Christian
