I am brand new to this site, live in the Seattle area and have an original pair of M75's. Of course the foam seals have failed on the Woofer and Mid. Everything else looks good. I have found foam replacement kits from Simply Speakers in Florida, but don't want to spend $50 if the capacitors on the x-over are bad as well. How can I tell if they need replacing. Any other suggestions to bring these back to life?
Considering the age of your speakers, you should change the capacitors too, not a big job if you can solder and capacitors are cheap, welcome to the forum
