I have B&O system composed by an AV9000 , 2 Beolab 8000 (front), 2 Beolab 6000 (rear), and BeoCentre 2500 with Beolink converter. All are functioned well.

I want to change the tv to a 65" non-B&O Smart TV but keep using the existing sound system.

I have consult the local B&O dealer, the technician is helpful and advise me to purchase an suround amp with pre/pro-out, RCA out-put, system 3 tunner and DC12V trigger on/off. But actually, I cannot fully understand  and he cannot advise the band and model on his postion.

My question is that:

1. Is it really impossible to keep the centre speaker of the AV9000 if I remove the TV body?

2. What non-B&O amp can suggested?

3. Any B&O product can serve?

I can !

I think he has given you the appropriate advice for a B&O employee -- it is a bit much to ask him to give an opinion on other brands - he may have that in another forum as a private individual, but surely not on B&O premises and on B&O time.

I am sure there are people on the forum who have set ups similar to what you are aspiring to.  I suggest you search the forum archives here => http://archivedarchivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/ as there will be a rich set of examples there from various manufacturers

1. yes, impossible

2. any of the major brands (denon, marantz, pioneer etc.)

3. beosystem 3 - you will have masterlink etc as well - probably the best solution

Take a look at this thread, it shows how I set up my system (non B&O AVR with Beolabs).
