can't adjust volume in my Besound9000 with the absence of the remote control

I've lost my Beosound9000 remote control, trying to adjust the bass , the balance, the volume ... but none of these functions respond .  Do iI really need the Remote Control to be able to adjust one these functions ?

Have you tried flipping up the ribbed grey section next to the door glass?  There's a button pad under there!

No you should be able to do all this withouth the remote using the hidden panel of buttons. Do any of the buttons I the hidde panel work? That panel canbe removed and turned. Check that it's been inserted correctly. Hope that helps.

the timer , Cd , Radio all respond correctly but not the volume , bass, treble  one .. strange ...:/
