Hi,

I am looking into a projector for my living room. I currently have a BV7-40. I would love to have some feedback from the forum concerning projectors and screens.

Thank you in advance for your good ideas !

Scot which Bv 7-40 model do you have?

I'm running a Jvc hd 1 1080p projector on a. Bv 7-55 mk 2 works great!

This is not the first Bv tv that I have used the projector on.Have used it on a bv7-40 mk3 also 7-55 mk 1. No problem.

I'd say if you have 5-6K to spend I would look at the new Sim Cube or the JVC Reference series. For less than 6k it doesn't get much better in my opinion.

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there

Hi there

I have the BV7 MK4 and I am also using the Optoma HD65 beemer without PUC. I use a lintronic -238 to activate everything when the bins on the BV7 cinema output are activated.

I also use a motorised screen from Optoma its their Panoview.

My setup is excellent and cost a little over £500.

Screen drops down in front of the TV to just over the beolab speaker so I keep the same speaker config.

Good Luck its well worth it.

I got a Sony VPL-VW1100ES Native 4K Projector last December to be a gift for my family, cause I planed to watch movie with my family on the Christmas night with the feeling of cinema. It worked very well and I set it up in my living room. The one I got with the size of 29.1*26.8*13.4, the contrast radio of 1000000:1 and the brightness of 2000 lumens. Actually you`d better pay for the one you like after taking refer to the reviews or buying guide of projectors. If you can get a 4k projector the article of comparison of 4k projector here is what I recommend to you highly.

I'm one of those people who just sees blurred images, 3D is not for me.

4k projectors on the other hand is outstanding on Optoma UHD51A projector. It was $1,709 at one point on Amazon. I watched planet earth 2 and it was quite an experience. Make sure you get a good pulldown screen.

Were you able to get the specific PUC for the sp-a600b model? I have that same projector. A year ago, BeoCare told me that they didn't have the entry for that projector and suggested I used the PUC for another Samsung projector. The problem is that the sp-a600b requires a conformation from you that you do indeed want to power down the projector -- which the other samsung projector does not.
