I'm going to refresh a Beomaster 3000-2 that is in excellent condition but haven't been used for many years.
When recapping, is it recommended to replace the tantals as well? If so, have you actually experienced failed tantals?
Would it be worthwhile to replace tantals in the signal path with polyester film caps?
