My Beovision Avant (MK1) turns off every three minutes after I turn it on. There was a power outage, so I had to re-enter the Pin. However, it keeps turning off. I tried cutting the power again for an hour, but it still keeps turning off. I disabled the pin, but that did not help either. Before I factory reset the TV and spent precious time reconfiguring the TV (lost hours of my precious life), I wanted to ask if you have any last troubleshooting tips? As always, thank you for your help!

Have you timed it at precisely 180 seconds each and every time - or is it a rough guess at 3 minutes?

It is pretty exact 3 minutes, I would say +/- 20sec. What is your train of thought here?

Sleep timer, or PIN protection (even though you've deleted it...)

I have a Beosound 9000 connected via a Nl/Ml converter. Could the Beosound send the shut down signal every 3 minutes over ML?

Disconnect the 9000 and/or the NLML and see what happens. its all a process of elimination

As always, it is when you ask others for help that you find the solution by yourself. It actually was the Beosound 9000 sending the shutdown signal over the NL/ML converter. It does this even though it had not been touched after the power cut.
