Does anyone have suggestions or pointers how to straighten the retainer clips for the tone controls? The lips are stronger than the mounts, so it isn't a stretch to believe that the plastic bits will yield before the metal clips.
Just go ahead and bend the tabs upwards using a small flat-bladed screwdriver.
