My Essence Remote has gone stiff. It was working perfectly and all of a sudden very stiff.

Updated software on my Essence Mark 1 (surprised an update was available!) and cannot connect the remote unless I update the software. No software now available.

Any suggestions? Thanks all.

It will be an issue with the internal bands. Sadly it’s unrepairable.

Press the pairing button on the Essence. Then put the remote in pairing. Then push the button on the Essence again. Now it should pair.

And about the stiffness, it is the wheel bearings.
