Hi perhaps someone can help before I give up the will!
I have a 5500 record deck that plays lp's fine but when it ejects at the end the arm traverses part the way back and then Jams solid. The only way to free it is to lift the tone arm gear off its spindle a little and manually slide it back to rest position. Then it will play the next one fine until the reject cycle again.
Any help would be vert gratefully receive.
