Good morning, I have 2 questions for my beoplay A6 (It is one year I have it, and I have been using it with Tidal but due to the fact that it's a little expensive I decided to go with Apple music(student) ...and I have questions)
1- How can I use Apple music in google cast mode? In other words, I don't to stream via my phone...as it would always interrupt when I leave the house. I would like to use like I did with Tidal + Google cast or Spotify Connect. I would not mind using DLNA or another approach...but it's important to me.
2- When I use beomusic and I select IOS Library, my library is grayed out and I cannot play a song.,,, I can see the song list, play list...but cannot select it.
regards
concerning question 2: the music has to be physically on your device to be available, just in the cloud doesn't work

thank you for answer number 2, I believe I had tried that but still grayed...we'll see if I have to restart itunes or beoplay
It's only possible to play music through the BeoMusic app which is downloaded to your device (ios) and bought through iTunes. Songs downloaded to your device via Apple Music are not available to play directly on the Beoplay A6.
It's only possible to Cast / Airplay / Bluetooth songs which drains the battery on your device. Frustrating, but likely a restriction from Apple which B&O cannot circumvent.
Ok great! thank you. indeed restrictive but we don't have a choice :-)
Maybe you can convert Apple Music to MP3 so that you can directly play Apple Music on BeoPlay A6 without any limitation.
Hi, for this issue, maybe you could take a try of using a third-party software to convert Apple Music to common audio formats like MP3, etc. Here you could use DRmare Audio Converter for Windows. This program can help you make Apple music playable on non-apple devices and convert the music with lossless audio quality. After that, you can stream the converted Apple music to your BeoPlay A6 for offline listening. Hope this tip will help you.
