This should be easy, but I don't see how to adjust the left / right channel balance from my listening position using Beo4.

The source unit is a Beocenter 9500. I can make the adjustment using the keyboard when standing at the unit. I want, however, to make the adjustment at the listening position.

I've searched the Beo4 user manual for the word 'balance': no hits.

Thanks for your thoughts.

You need to add SPEAKER to the LIST button on the Beo4.

- Press Power and LIST together, the display should read ADD?

- Press GO.

- Press LIST until the display shows SPEAKER then GO.

- SPEAKER should then be listed under LIST.

To adjust your BC9500, press LIST until SPEAKER shows, and then use the GO button to cycle through the sound options.

(EDIT:  With SPEAKER showing in the Beo4 display, press GO twice to get to balance, and then use the Volume UP/DOWN buttons to adjust.)

Thank you, Guy!  Very kind of you.

I'd added AUDIO SETUP, on the assumption that it was the required menu item, and that   <<   >>   would adjust.  It's a little more convoluted than that, I see, but your instructions are spot on.

No problem - happy to help.

And I've had my BC9500 for about 13 years and had forgotten how to adjust sound with the remote, so it was a good reminder for me too! Smile
