Hi

I have a few questions relating my BV14 and was hoping you could help or shed some light

1. Does your BV14 green light come on at night randomly (with the TV off in standby)?

After I finish watching TV in my bedroom and put it in standby the green light comes back on and sometimes it stays on for a few seconds and sometimes it can be a minute or two (lighting up the bedroom

Some times I wake up during the night and notice the green light is on

It’s like it’s checking for a software update but the beotool tells me it’s not (q3 below)

2. Does your BV14 just switch on randomly and start?

Today I came back in to my bedroom after being in there and not using the TV and that TV was on and screen saver of the Apple TV

My Sony TV also randomly switches on

I’m wondering if it has something to do with google home. ?

I can switch on and off the Sony TV with the google assistant and although I can see the BV14 in the google home app I can’t use google to switch it on and off.

3. Does your BeoTool show that software updates : failed to check for new software and status not supported ?

Refer to this pic.

Thanks

Hi,

My Horizon does act as you describe on #1 and #3. My guess it has to do with the Android OS.

BV Harmony 65 / Eclipse 55 / BL 50 / 19 / 18 / BS 2 all brass

BV Horizon 48 / V1 40 / BL 17 / Beoplay S3 all black

V1 / BL 3 / BS Essence MKII / Beoplay A3 all white

BS Moment / BS 3000 / BS 3200 / BL 400 all silver

Headphones / bluetooth speakers / BLC NL-ML / BLGateway

I know…B&O virus has grown on me !

1 & 2 happened with the first software released... (back in 2016/17).

3: seems like BeoTools cannot do the check;

Have the same softwareversion as you now.. What I do notice is that, compared with the previous software, the Apple TV doesn't switch of when putting the TV in standby... But that's all.  Was away for a weekend some weeks ago and saw that there was a hugh increase in bandwith usage when I was not at home.. The Apple TV CNN app was streaming all weekend even with the TV off

Current problem: my 5y old has been playing with my remote and can't find it anywhere...

(thank you B&O for releasing an iPhone App!)
